Første signering i boks

Fredag kunne BWFC bekrefte at de er i gang med å hente spillere i overgangsvinduet.

Første spiller inn portene på Toughsheet Community Stadium er 22 år unge Nathanael Ogbeta. Han kommer på lånekontrakt fra Swansea City ut sesongen.

Ogbeta er en vingback som startet sin ungdomskarriere i Manchester City. Deretter ble det Shrewsbury Town før han ble kjøpt av Swansea i 2022. Der fikk han to kamper og ble så lånt ut til Peterborough United i 2023.

– Last season he had a really impressive spell at Peterborough. His performances were excellent. He’s very much the type of player we want and need for that position. He comes in to add competition for places and to make us better and I think he does that. We’ve probably needed to make this move more urgently because of the Randell scenario but that happens in football and that’s not to say they can’t play together at some point as I think either could play either side, sier Bolton trener, Ian Evatt til bwfc.co.uk.

Nathanael Ogbeta er svært fornøyd med å få spille for Bolton Wanderers resten av sesongen.

– I’m just delighted. It’s such a great team doing so well in the league at the moment and I’m so grateful to be part of a team that is really pushing for the top. It comes with pressure and wanting to win promotion and win the league but the manager is so relaxed, the players are so relaxed, and I feel that’s a perfect environment to come into, sier spilleren til Wanderers TV.

– It’s only for the short term now but this is a great club and I’m just really excited. I really believe that the club is a Premier League club.
