Gikk ikke veien på Fratton Park
Lørdag dro Bolton til Fratton Park for å møte Portsmouth med håp om poeng. Det gikk ikke.
Kampen endte 1-0 til hjemmelaget.
Bolton Wanderers suffered a narrow defeat on the South Coast after Brett Pitman atoned for his earlier penalty miss to score the only goal of the game which gave Portsmouth all he three points.
Wanderers can consider themselves unfortunate to not travel back up north with a share of the spoils after producing sustained spells of attacking play.
Det skriver bwfc.co.uk i sin Match report.
-First half we played well but second half we made too many mistakes, defensively, not keeping the ball as well as I’d expect them to, sa trener Keith Hill til The Bolton news etter kampen.
Videre sier han:
-In the first half we have to be more ruthless. The missing ingredient from the way we played was putting the ball in the back of the net. We had some good phases of play, good opportunities where players have got to show they can make up that extra five yards, make better decisions. I think we are looking better as a team but this is a results-driven business.
