Ny forsvarsspiller til Bolton

I dag kunne Bolton Wanderers fortelle at de har hentet enda en spiller fra Wrexham.

Denne gangen er det ikke et lån men en signering for de neste fire årene.

Mannen som har kommet inn portene, som den åttende sommersigneringen, er 1.87 høye forsvarspilleren Lewis Brunt (25).

Brunt var i Wrexhan fra 2024 til sommeren 2026 og fikk 31 kamper. Dette i følge Wikipedia. Før Wrexham var han utlånt fra Leicester City til Mansfield Town. Der han faktisk scorte to mål.

– The club’s back into the Championship and I want to try to continue playing in this league and showcase my ability. It’s been a bit of a whirlwind career so far. I was fortunate to play in the Premier League for Leicester City, had a great year at Mansfield on loan in League Two and then made the step to Wrexham in League One and we won that, sier Brunt til bwfc.co.uk.

– Last season was a little bit of a stop-start for me but hopefully I can kick on now this season. Stepping up from League One to the Championship is a big step up but if I can come into the building and try and help the lads and help the team then that’s what I’ll do. It’s going to be a challenge but it’s one I’m sure the group, the staff, the team are all looking forward to and hopefully we can make it a positive season.
