Ny seier i banken
– The result was what was most important today. It’s been a challenging week. In the first half we could have made it slightly easier for ourselves. We had great opportunities but to be fair to the keeper he’s made some brilliant saves when we could have been more comfortable. In the second half we had to be concentrated and I thought the players’ mindset was first-class in their attitude to defensive work, sa Ian Evatt til bwfc.co.uk etter kampen.
Until the confidence is fully back it’s baby steps forward and that was another step forward today and we’re delighted with the win.
– Ian Evatt
I følge The Bolton news hadde hjemmelaget Crawley 69% ballinnehav.
– We have to be adaptable, and Crawley are a team that try to do a lot of quirky things, they try and dominate the ball and there is a lot of rotation. They are so expansive in possession that sometimes you have to allow the first few to set traps and spring forward on the counter and I think first half we executed that perfectly. The only negative was that it should have been game over, and credit to their keeper who made some fantastic saves, sa Boltons trener til The Bolton news.
