Ny spiss på damelaget

Bolton Wanderers Women har sikret seg en ny angrepsspiller. Video i saken.

Det er Abbie Brown som har sluttet seg til laget før den kommense sesongen.

Brown har tilbrakt tid i Amerika, Portugal og Israel – samt England – i løpet av karrieren, og bringer både kvalitet og erfaring til førstelagstroppen.

Hennes blikk for mål og evner i den øvre delen av banen ga henne Leeds Uniteds pris for årets kvinnelige spiller i 2021. Hun fortsatte den formen i 2022/23-sesongen da hun endte som klubbens toppscorer.

– I’m really excited to be joining. I’ve had a call with Myles (damelagets trener) and he spoke about the ambition that the club has and it sounded a really good place to be. That’s why I’m here, sier spissen til bwfc.co.uk.

Abbie sier videre:

– As a player you want to play at the highest level you can, and the ambition the club has to go through the pyramid is something I want to be part of.
