Ny uavgjortkamp

Det ble 0-0 mellom Bolton Wanderers og Northampton Town søndag formiddag.

Det positivet med kampen er at Bolton er ubeseiret i 2026. Det negative er at det kan bli for lite poeng med tanke på å holde seg blant på seks på tabellen.

Bolton hadde ballen i mål, men dommeren blåste frispark til motstanderens målvakt. En avgjørelse som var noe merkelig.

Boltons trener var også frustrert etter kampen.

– It’s frustrating again, really.  know I’m saying similar things. We didn’t hit the target, not once, from some good opportunities, which is disappointing.

For sjansene var der. Både Richard Taylor, som hadde sin første kamp fra start, og Kyle Dempsey hadde noen hodestøt som tok ballen rett utenfor målet.

– I’m kind of glad as well that the Christmas period’s over. I think four games in nine days is mad. You could see there was a little bit of tiredness in there, even though we tried to change the team and keep as much freshness as possible. Maybe a little bit of mental tiredness as well as physical. But yeah, disappointing not to get more than a point from the game. We did create a couple of good chances today, not clear, massive-cut chances, but chances to score.
