Spillervurderinger Bolton – Barrow
The Bolton News har vurdert spillerne etter 1-0 seieren hjemme mot Barrow tirsdag 8. august.
Vurderingene er gjort av Chief Football Writer i The Bolton News, Marc Iles.
JOEL COLEMAN…6.
The toughest part of his night was to sprint for a George Thomason back-pass that threatened to go out for a corner. Nice and easy for a debut.
WILL FORRESTER…6.
Quite bright in possession for the first 30 minutes of the game and saw plenty of the ball. Effectiveness lessened as the night went on.
RICARDO SANTOS…7.
Not exactly stretched, defensively, but on the rare occasions that Barrow looked to break his awareness, pace and strength were such an important insurance policy.
JACK IREDALE…6.5.
Saw more of the ball than anyone else and worked quite well with Ashworth down the left. Nearly grabbed himself an early goal too.
JOSH DACRES-COGLEY…6.
Not quite as influential as he had been at the weekend but did not waste the ball and put in a couple of decent crosses from the right.
GEORGE THOMASON…7.
You can see he really wanted to use this opportunity to further his case for a start on Saturday and he tried more than most to keep the tempo high.
PARIS MAGHOMA…6.5.
Electric for the first 25-30 minutes but lost charge after that. A young man with a lot of promise who will have to learn how to handle these occasions.
ZAC ASHWORTH…7.
Great attitude and edged out Thomason for MOM. Got the goal but also proved Bolton’s chief outlet on the night.
CARLOS MENDES GOMES…6.
Had he converted the big chance of the first half then maybe the shackles would have come off? Flashes of promise but still a work in progress, perhaps?
CAMERON JEROME…6.
Won the free kick that led to the goal and did at least give Wanderers a strong central focus in the opening 45 minutes.
DAN NLUNDULU…6.
Crowded out a little bit despite being in the thick of Bolton’s best moves of the first half. Still feeling his way.
Subs: Charles 6, 63 (for Jerome), Morley 73 (for Maghoma), Dempsey 73 (for Gomes), Adeboyejo 73 (for Nlundulu), Jones 84 (for Forrester).
