Spillervurderinger Bolton – Peterborough
The Bolton News har vurdert spillerne etter kampen lørdag 26. oktober.
Vurderingene etter 1-0 hjemme mot Peterborough er gjort av Chief Football Writer i The Bolton News, Marc Iles.
LUKE SOUTHWOOD…7.5.
Came up with two vital saves in the second half, one at very close range from his own defender Santos, having been a virtual bystander for much of the game.
EOIN TOAL…8.
Captained the team on what was an excellent return. Saw plenty of possession and was positive on the ball.
RICARDO SANTOS…9.
Awesome performance against one of the division’s most potent attacks. Dominated Jones and once again showed his former employers what they are missing.
GEORGE JOHNSTON…8.
Said he wanted to set the tone with his early challenges and did exactly that. Should have scored first half with a header and could have had a penalty too.
JOSH DACRES-COGLEY…8.
Back in his preferred position on the right, Dacres-Cogley didn’t let much in behind him and used the ball really well.
JOSH SHEEHAN…7.
Hardly gave the ball away all afternoon and looked to be enjoying a bit of freedom with Matete sitting deep in front of the back line.
JAY MATETE…8.5.
His best performance of the season by some distance. Broke up play, used the ball sensibly and covered plenty of yards. Big step in the right direction.
SZABI SCHON…8.
Made some excellent runs in behind Dornelly in the first half but also managed to keep Poku very quiet, sticking to defensive duties well.
AARON COLLINS…7.
Should have had at least one goal on the day but kept running and asking for the ball. His best showing to date in this system.
JOHN MCATEE…7.
Like Collins, probably could have made the points safe a lot earlier. Didn’t let up, though, and never gave the Posh defence a moment’s peace.
VICTOR ADEBOYEJO…6.5.
Worked hard had a couple of good opportunities but didn’t quite have the moments that others did in attack.
Subs: Charles 6, 68 – Owes Klaidi Lolos a pint after missing the penalty.
Lolos 75 (for McAtee), Williams 76 (for Schon).
