Spillervurderinger Bolton – Shrewsbury
The Bolton News har vurdert spillerne etter 1-0 seieren hjemme mot Shrewsbury lørdag 22. april.
Vurderingene er gjort av Chief Football Writer i The Bolton News, Marc Iles.
JAMES TRAFFORD…6.5.
Won’t have bagged many easier clean sheets this season. A couple of good claims in the latter stages when the long throw seemed Shrewsbury’s best bet.
GETHIN JONES…7.
Freed from defensive duties for the most part, Jones pushed on and supported Bradley on the right, helping him get behind on a few occasions.
MJ WILLIAMS…8.
What once looked like the last roll of the dice has turned out very nicely for Wanderers. Williams is comfortable on the ball and defended stoutly when needed.
GEORGE JOHNSTON…7.
Never wasted the ball, pushed on to help Randell Williams when he could, and went close a couple of times from corners – even having half a shout for a penalty.
CONOR BRADLEY…7.5.
Running out of ways to praise the Liverpool youngster – but suffice it to say that after a frustrating first half he then led the charge on the right.
AARON MORLEY….6.5.
Though things freed up a little bit after half time, Morley didn’t really have the space he would have liked to do real damage. Claimed an assist, despite all that.
JOSH SHEEHAN…7.
Came up with the big play of the game and a goal that made all those painful hours of rehab worthwhile. Fully deserved his moment.
RANDELL WILLIAMS…6.5.
Kept the width and pushed as far forward as space would allow. Trusted to continue ahead of Declan John and didn’t let his manager down.
KYLE DEMSPEY…8.5.
In a difficult first half he was the driving force, and in a second half of all-out attack, he was always involved. Lung-bursting effort.
VICTOR ADEBOYEJO…6.
Had a big chance to open the scoring but was denied by Marosi. Otherwise had to work on scraps in a crowded arena.
DION CHARLES…6.
Unlucky with a couple of efforts – but, like Adeboyejo, had a big chance at 0-0 which thankfully won’t be playing as hard on his mind after three points.
Subs: Nlundulu 75 (for Adeboyejo), Lee 75 (for Sheehan), Kachunga 82 (for Charles).
