Spillervurderinger Bristol Rovers 0-2 Bolton Wanderers

The Bolton News har vurdert spillerne etter 0-2 seieren borte mot Bristol Rovers lørdag 6. april.

Vurderingene er gjort av Digital Sports Reporter i The Bolton News, Dan Barnes.

NATHAN BAXTER…8

Returned to the side after a wrist injury and didn’t show any signs of rustiness, making several impressive stops including a couple of crucial ones to deny Martin a few minutes before Collins’ opener.

EOIN TOAL…7

Another confident display from the 25-year-old, who was colossal in the air and generally tidy in possession.

RICARDO SANTOS…7

Used his pace to snuff out several dangerous counter-attacks in the first half and commanded the backline well under pressure. Hopefully, there is good news on his calf and the skipper can lead the team out against Portsmouth.

JACK IREDALE…7

Kept his place in the back three following a solid performance against Reading and once again didn’t disappoint.

JOSH DACRES-COGLEY…6.5

Got into some dangerous areas on the right but couldn’t quite make them count. Didn’t get many decisions from the officials as he battled against Connolly and Sinclair.

JOSH SHEEHAN…7.5

Showed again how important he is to this Bolton side, making everything look effortless before he was forced off 13 minutes from time. Would be a big loss if he if forced to miss any of the final four league games.

GEORGE THOMASON…6.5

Did some important defensive work and played a pinpoint pass to Collins for his goal. Wasn’t afraid to throw his body in front of shots when Wanderers were under the cosh late on.

PARIS MAGHOMA…7

Continues to have an impact going forward, particularly when he gets the chance to drive at defenders. Also showed he can handle the physical side of the game when things got scrappy in the middle of the pitch.

NAT OGBETA…6.5

Nearly scored an ambitious free kick in the first half and ran his socks off throughout the contest, getting up and down the left flank to contribute at both ends of the pitch.

AARON COLLINS…8

Produced another moment of magic to break the deadlock against his former side, showing impressive composure in front of goal. Looks more comfortable in Wanderers’ system with each game and is set to play a key role in the run-in.

JON DADI BODVARSSON…6.5

Showed good awareness to let the ball run through to Collins for the opener. Otherwise, it wouldn’t quite drop for the striker in front of goal but he still caused the hosts a few problems.

Subs

Dempsey 68 (for Maghoma), Morley 77 (for Sheehan), Jerome 77 (for Collins), Williams 99 (for Ogbeta), Taylor 99 (for Iredale).
