The Bolton News har vurdert spillerne etter kampen lørdag 4. jaunuar.
Vurderingene etter 2-1 seieren borte mot Exeter er gjort av Chief Football Writer i The Bolton News, Marc Iles.
NATHAN BAXTER…5.5.
Caught out for the Exeter goal, which didn’t look pretty at all. Didn’t have a huge amount of pressure to deal with other than that.
WILL FORRESTER…6.5.
Dealt with pretty much everything that came his way and rewarded the decision to put him back in the side. Looked a threat at set pieces too.
RICARDO SANTOS…5.
Obviously culpable on the Exeter goal and had produced a few unsure touches before that too. Kept Magennis quiet, which was a positive. Hit the bar too.
GEORGE JOHNSTON…6.
Definitely a step in the right direction. Took on a lot of possession, had one shot deflected over the bar, and won most of his battles.
RANDELL WILLIAMS…6.5.
Looked on course for a wonderful afternoon after half an hour, with his delivery first class. His impact was a bit hit and miss after that.
AARON MORLEY…7.
Came up with a match-winning moment, even though he knew very little about it. Looked confident on the ball, even though you’d want to see him involved more.
KLAIDI LOLOS…5.
Could easily have been a matchwinner with his big chance in the second half. Had struggled to make a dent to that stage.
GEORGE THOMASON…5.
Lots of yards covered, no shortage of effort, but it’s just not happening for him at the moment. Needs a change in fortune.
SZABI SCHON…6.
Got involved in some of Wanderers’ best football and should have been more selfish when he squared for McAtee.
JOHN MCATEE…6.5.
Got himself involved and provided a few moments of quality, including the volley which nearly dribbled under the keeper. Much better.
AARON COLLINS…7.
The fact he is now on 12 goals has rather flown under the radar. Has he been super-consistent? No. But he is developing the knack of being in the right place at the right time.
Subs: Charles 70 (for Lolos), Osei-Tutu 70 (for Schon), Matete 86 (for Thomason).
