Spillervurderinger Exeter City 2-2 Bolton Wanderers

The Bolton News har vurdert spillerne etter 2-2 borte mot Exeter lørdag 9. mars.

Vurderingene er gjort av Chief Football Writer i The Bolton News, Marc Iles.

JOEL COLEMAN…5.5.

Hard to explain positioning for Cox’s first goal and gets benefit of doubt on the second because of the quality of strike. Came up with two big saves in the second half to prevent a defeat.

EOIN TOAL…6.

Scored a vital goal to make sure Bolton took a point from the game but lost his man for the first goal and got in a mix-up with Santos for the second.

RICARDO SANTOS…5.5.

Not many people beat Santos for pace but Cox caught him flat footed to make the score 2-1. Need him to be fully switched on.

JACK IREDALE…6.5.

Very nearly won it at the bitter end with a low shot tipped around the post. Not completely absolved of the defensive sloppiness but best of the bunch and provided an assist.

JOSH SHEEHAN…6.

Got his 11th assist of the season as part of the best move of the game. Far from his best on the ball, though, with a few key passes just off-kilter.

GETHIN JONES…6.5.

Showed that right wing-back might well be his most effective position, putting in some really presentable crosses which went unpunished.

GEORGE THOMASON…6.

Played a part in the first goal and has his moments in midfield but looked a little jaded and not quite at his rambunctious best.

PARIS MAGHOMA…7.5.

Kept his good recent form up with a goal and a nearly flawless first half. Effectiveness dropped after half time as Exeter seized more control.

RANDELL WILLIAMS…6.

Not quite as productive as Jones on the other flank but his return to Exeter clearly meant a lot and he worked hard to get forward.

VICTOR ADEBOYEJO…N/A.

Limped out of the game with a hamstring injury before he really got a chance to get involved in the game. Can only hope the injury is not a serious one.

AARON COLLINS…6.

Unlucky with one dipping shot that bounced off the crossbar in the first half. Linked up with Bodvarsson successfully a couple of times too – but ran out of steam.

Subs: Bodvarsson 5.5, 5 (for Adeboyejo) – Not his day. Looked undercooked.

Ogbeta 5.5, 67 (for Williams) – Never really got involved.

Dempsey 72 (for Thomason), Jerome 72 (for Collins).
