Spillervurderinger Huddersfield – Bolton

The Bolton News har vurdert spillerne etter kampen lørdag 25. januar.
Vurderingene etter 1-0 seieren borte mot Huddersfield Town er gjort av Chief Football Writer i The Bolton News, Marc Iles.
LUKE SOUTHWOOD…7.
Didn’t have a save to make until the 78th minute. Composed under pressure when the ball came into the penalty box, though, and his handling was sound when it needed to be.
GETHIN JONES…7.5.
Dug in with determination. Didn’t have much chance to break out and attack, but marshalled Taylor and Charles effectively. Delighted to see him back to his best.
WILL FORRESTER…9.
Imperious. The kind of defending he likes to do, sure, and few in Bolton colours are better at protecting their own penalty box. Magnetic at times.
GEORGE JOHNSTON…8.5.
Ferocious in everything he did, which whipped up a frenzy in the away support behind the goal. Has had a tough time of late, and this is him in peak form.
JOSH DACRES-COGLEY…8.5.
Rarely gets his flowers – but this was a tremendous performance at both ends of the pitch. Created the goal for Collins and kept Evans and Spencer quiet.
AARON MORLEY…7.
Who says he can’t do the defensive side of the game? Didn’t get much chance to use his range of passing but stayed disciplined, which is a huge measure of improvement.
KLAIDI LOLOS…7.
Showed a few glimpses of real quality on the ball and a willingness to join in with the strikers, then had a couple of spells where he was a little wasteful.
GEORGE THOMASON…7.
Seemed to be on a permanent charge, making clearances and winning the ball back in every inch of the Bolton half. A good step forward.
SZABI SCHON…7.5.
If you could bottle his passion for the cause, we would have a field day. Worked tremendously hard but didn’t need to get himself embroiled in the second half nonsense.
VICTOR ADEBOYEJO…7.5.
Had to work his tail off to try and secure the ball for Bolton. Maybe should have scored in the first half but this was his best display for some while.
AARON COLLINS…7.5.
Once again the man to supply the decisive goal. Had to do a lot of unselfish chasing before his big chance, and might have had a penalty.
Subs: Osei-Tutu 6.5, 67 (for Schon) – Dug in with the defensive effort.
McAtee 74 (for Lolos), Randall 74 (for Collins).
