Spillervurderinger Leyton Orient – Bolton

The Bolton News har vurdert spillerne etter borteseieren lørdag 10. august.

Vurderingene etter 2-1 seieren borte mot Leyton er gjort av Chief Football Writer i The Bolton News, Marc Iles.

NATHAN BAXTER…9.

Hard to argue with Ian Evatt’s view that his goalkeeper is the best in the division on this showing. Denied the excellent Kelman with a few top drawer saves and then led the cheerleading.

JACK IREDALE…5.

Led a merry dance by Kelman at times and his slip proved crucial in the equalising goal. With Schön still finding his feet, left-side of the back three is a tricky place to play at present.

RICARDO SANTOS…6.5.

Some typically dominant defending which gave the dangerous Agyei little chance to do damage but also just a couple of minor iffy moments in possession.

EOIN TOAL…7.

Pleasing day all round for the Northern Irishman, who used the ball well in what was a pretty direct game and lost nothing in the air.

JOSH DACRES-COGLEY…6.

Made a few positive contributions early on but didn’t get too many opportunities to get behind the home defence. Moved into a central role in the last half hour.

JOSH SHEEHAN…5.5.

Struggled to get into the game at all as Orient limited the space in the centre of the park and gave him little opportunity to put his foot on the ball.

GEORGE THOMASON…7.

Chipped in with plenty of defensive work and seemed to enjoy the rough and tumble of a hectic midfield at Brisbane Road.

SZABOLCS SCHÖN…6.5.

Looks to be enjoying his early days with Bolton, and though he still has a bit to learn defensively, he looks an educated and exciting prospect indeed.

AARON COLLINS…6.5.

Mixed bag – created the first goal for Charles and another excellent chance at the near post thereafter but got a bit wasteful after that.

SCOTT ARFIELD…6.

There were a few classy touches in there from the former Rangers man but he probably wasn’t as involved as he would have liked.

DION CHARLES…6.5.

Took his goal really well and might have had a couple more with a few more games in his legs. Off and running once again, though, which is great to see.

Subs: McAtee 7, 63 – Aggressive and looked a real threat.

Osei-Tutu 71 (for Iredale), Matete 71 (for Sheehan), Adeboyejo 75 (for Charles), Lolos 75 (for Collins).
