LUKE SOUTHWOOD…6.5.

One big save in the second half to push over Roughlan’s shot from the edge of the box. Another solid performance in the cup.

GETHIN JONES…6.5.

Conservative, perhaps, but defensively sound and particularly in the second half when Lincoln went very direct in an attempt to find an equaliser.

RICARDO SANTOS…7.

After some of his recent displays have been spoiled by mistakes, nobody seemed more focussed than the centre-back to protect a clean sheet late in the game.

GEORGE JOHNSTON…7.

Another player whose recent performances have come under some scrutiny but this was much more like it. Resolute.

JOSH DACRES-COGLEY…6.

Won most of his duels and was sound in a defensive sense. Didn’t offer a massive amount going forward but did his bit to protect the win.

GEORGE THOMASON…7.5.

Summed up a positive night with an important challenge on sub Ben House late on to prevent a shot at goal. Covered every inch of the pitch for the cause.

KLAIDI LOLOS…6.

Popped up occasionally and did provide the assist for Collins’ goal in the end but he was bypassed a little too easily at times.

JAY MATETE…6.

Kept on asking for the ball – which is a plus point – but some of the risks taken in possession in his own half have piled pressure on the Whites.

JORDI OSEI-TUTU…6.

Good to see him starting again and got into a couple of decent positions in the first half but evidently still feeling his way back.

AARON COLLINS…6.5.

The two bites of the cherry he took to score the goal were just about his only involvements n the penalty box but his excellent record in this competition continues.

VICTOR ADEBOYEJO…6.

Worked hard enough and showed a few touches very early in the game that suggested he was in the mood. Very much a peripheral character by the second half.
