Spillervurderinger Stevenage – Bolton

The Bolton News har vurdert spillerne etter kampen tirsdag 29. oktober.
Vurderingene etter 4-1 seieren borte mot Stevenage er gjort av Chief Football Writer i The Bolton News, Marc Iles.
LUKE SOUTHWOOD…7.
It took Stevenage a fair while to test him – but he came good with a couple of really decent saves in the second half.
EOIN TOAL…7.
Desperately unlucky after making a great start to the game and now looking like he could be out for a while.
RICARDO SANTOS…8.5.
Whatever he has done in the last few weeks, it is working. Great header to open the scoring but his defensive performance was also top class.
GEORGE JOHNSTON…8.
Hasn’t quite grabbed the headlines like Santos but another Wanderers defender who is approaching the top of his game at the moment.
JOSH DACRES-COGLEY…8.
And another of Bolton’s unsung heroes. Delicious ball to set-up Charles, and a few lung-bursting runs in the first half that should have been picked out.
JOSH SHEEHAN…7.5.
Didn’t have a lot of time to play his football but did it sensibly and his set pieces were excellent. Kept the ball as well as anyone on the pitch.
JAY MATETE…8.5.
Has had a couple of really encouraging performances now as Wanderers dipped back into the system with which they started the season. Always in the thick of the action.
SZABI SCHON…7.
Had a big say in Adeboyejo’s goal and worked hard up and down the left flank. Finding some real consistency at the moment.
JOHN MCATEE…8.
Took his goal superbly. Ran himself to a standstill and switched play as well as anyone. Maybe his best outing in a Bolton shirt?
AARON COLLINS…7.
Started very brightly and played a little wider than we are used to seeing him of late. Took the ball on and wasn’t worried about running at the Stevenage back line.
VICTOR ADEBOYEJO…7.
Had a tough job on holding play up at times – but fared a little better than he did against Peterborough and also got a goal for his efforts.
Subs: Forrester 8, 30 (for Toal) – Got immediately into the tune of the game and defended well.
Lolos 76 (for McAtee), Charles 76 (for Adeboyejo), Arfield 79 (for Collins), Williams 79 (for Schon).
