Bolton spilte 0-0 mot serielederen Wycombe fredag kveld.
Lagene møttes på Wycombes hjemmebane Adams Park Stadium for en kveldskamp. Ingen av lagene fikk satt ballen i mål, men Boltons trener var svert fornøyd med lagets innsats. Særlig med tanke på hva som skjedde forrige helg da de tapte mot rivalene fra Wigan.
– I’m so proud of the players who responded after Saturday. We were all absolutely distraught after Saturday for so many reasons and yet I’m proud of what they’ve done tonight and proud of the fans as well. They were absolutely amazing. When the players hear that, they just respond and react and it’s the first time in a while after the game we shared a nice moment all together as a group. I thought the fans were absolutely brilliant. Bolton er nå like utenfor topp-seks på målforskjell etter at de sikret første clean sheet på 10 kamper med noen enestående prestasjoner fra spillere som kom tilbake i lagoppstillingen.
