– I thought we deserved to win it. I think we were the team probing and asking questions for large spells, we had control, sa Ian Evatt etter kampen til The Bolton news.
– We started the game really well and probably should have gone ahead. Second half, I didn’t think we quite got to the same level and that is understandable from my perspective given the players haven’t played a lot of football.
Til bwfc.co.uk sier Ian Evatt:
-I do think it was a penalty at the end. I think that’s a clear shirt pull. Everyone in the stadium could see it and we didn’t get it. If you look at the stats I think we had nearly 70% possession, eight on target and 11 shots in all. The pleasing thing for me was the clean sheet. They’re a team that creates a lot of chances and put you under pressure, so keeping a clean sheet was positive and limiting them to very little and shots from distance.
– It is great we had that atmosphere. Both sets of fans created a really good atmosphere, it was incredible at times. I am just disappointed we didn’t win it, I think it is two points dropped. As I said, I think we deserved to win it.
